[Fontconfig] Ask some informations

Good mording, 
I'm using the FontConfig library with Gnome2, and i have some troubles with it 
: i'm using a XFontServer (xfstt) which is installed on a server in a local 
network and permits to use all my fonts on all computers of the local 
network. But my issue is that it seems fontconfig don't support this sort of 
server. So, i can't put a local copy of all fonts, i must use this sort of 
server and i'm allowed to use fontconfig. What i must to do ??
