[Fontconfig] Trying to install fontconfig 2.2.0

I'm trying to compile install fontconfig 2.2.0.

After realizing that the compile requires 'lynx' I installed lynx 2.8.4

I ran the fontconfig compile again and got the following error:

Please tell me you aren't trying to connect to a web server during the 
compile process.
I'm guessing you are trying to use lynx to translate a file called 
fontconfig-user.html?

Any ideas on what is wrong?
