[Fontconfig] Fontconfig compile problems

Yes, fontconfig 2.2.0 isn't compatible with recent FreeType releases. This 
has been fixed in CVS, but not (yet) back-ported to the 2.2 branch.

I was hoping to get fontconfig 2.3 released at some point, but I keep 
getting side tracked.  Sigh.
