[Fontconfig] More Manual?

Hi everyone. Could anybody please introduce me if there is extra manual for
fontconfig? I am learning how to use it in debian but I found the manual
afforded in fontconfig.org/wiki is not satisfactory. For example I saw many
people using such sentence

<test name="lang" *compare="contains*">

But I do not if this grammar is correct from that manual. So I just want a
manual about the grammar or options used for fontconfig, very detailedly.
