[Fontconfig] annoying `NONE' directory problem

Folks,


is there any fix available for the annoying `NONE' directory problem
as already reported in the bug database (and still present in current
git)?  I don't know the exact reasons which cause this phenomenon, but
it seems that all programs are affected which add font directories.
On my platform, this is fontconfig itself and lilypond (which calls
FcConfigAppFontAddDir).

IMHO, this deserves a new fontconfig release...
