[Fontconfig] Sort order of style variants

Hi,
I am designing a new font and it has Thin, Regular and Bold versions.
When I run fc-match fontName, I get the Bold variant. I would like to get
Regular as output
fc-list lists in the fonts in this order: Thin, Bold, Regular

What property in the font can affect the sorting order and how can I
achieve fc-match returning Regular?
