[Fontconfig] Another proposal for saving custom fonts in fontconfig

Something addressing this need is proposed in
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/fontconfig/fontconfig/issues/198

If someone has a better idea on how to handle all the twists current 
font families, now that variable fonts enable the spreading of families 
over multiple non-standard faces and font files, please react to the 
ticket, or create another with your own alternative proposal.
