[fprint] single to many comparision

I'm working on a project with an embedded system which identifies users 
via fingerprints of their left thumbs.

Is this possible with the C(++) libfprint api? Which way would you 
reccomend to do this?

(This is the first time I use a mailinglist, so please apologise when 
this wasn't the right way to use it)
