[fdo] change some icons of menu

HI,
  which is the best or the recommended way to change only a couple of icons
from the menu (apps)? I'm talking about no more than 5 icons. I's because
the icon theme we (lubuntu) like, has a small numbers of apps icons which
are monochrome and we would like to have them with more color.
