Poppler

I have Poppler installed on Macos.  I currently use pdftotext and pdfimages
on command line regularly.

1) Is there a way to determine the placement of the images within the text?
2) Is there a way to use Poppler to render text and images in a -layout
view?

My goal is to create minimal HTML docs from pdfs.
