Thanks, sounds good. Once things work out with 10.4, we can try a later,
non-st/egl mesa. I have an Intel i5-450M notebook with 4GB RAM running
openSUSE that I'll be using to develop.

Still down :(. Luckily, I've got shallow clones of kitkat-x86 and
android-ifc6410 [1], and I have rebased mesa to 10.4 as you suggested
(not tried to build yet). I am trying out the CAF build that shipped
with the board and will see if I can build kitkat-x86 soon.
One thing -- would someone from the community be willing/available to
mentor me for this project and in general?
