Hi Khaled,

There is some basic (but not enabled by default on a5xx) tiled texture
support for a5xx (but probably still some bugs w/ various 3d/array
texture modes).. The support is better on a6xx where it is enabled by
default.  But still not enabled at all for a3xx.  (And a device like
dragonboard 410c is probably easier to work on than a phone, since
freedreno depends more or less on upstream kernel support or
backporting upstream drm/msm support to whatever random android kernel
branch supports a particular device).. there is also the dragonboard
820c for a5xx, but kinda hard to get ahold of one right now (they are
backordered atm).  So probably tiled texture support for a3xx is a
more useful project at this point.

fwiw I have a kmscube branch[1] which I should probably merge to add a
tool to help debug various 2d-array + mipmap and 3d + mipmap formats..
something I wrote while working on tiled support for a6xx.
