Please, would it be possible to add a function:

  boolean fribidi_log2vis_fromCharType ( /* input */
                FriBidiCharType *type,
                int len, 
                FriBidiCharType *pbase_dir,
                /* output */
                FriBidiStrIndex *position_L_to_V_list,
                FriBidiStrIndex *position_V_to_L_list,
                uint8 *embedding_level_list);

which would work exactly as fribidi_log2vis but would take the 
actual FriBidiCharType's as its input (so that it could skip the char 
type lookup) and produce the mapping arrays and embeding levels 
only?
