Infact the fribidi api is not limited to the log2vis call.

Well, my last hacking on PHP extension modules has bee months ago 
and I can't remember the rules just now.  it should be something 
like some optional parameters, passed by reference, and if 
available, the mapping will be put in them...

PS.  Tal, you know that is there any plans to add PHP support to 
swig?  It currently generates frontends for Perl, Python and TCL.
