Matitiahu Allouche of IBM Israel <matial at il.ibm.com> has kindly sent
me the draft israeli standard document on the subject:

   Guidelines of a Logical User Interface for Editing Bidirectional Text

Mati would be very interested in getting feedback that may affect the
standards draft (it has not been passed yet). 

It may be interesting to note that it was these kind of user interface
issues that I in the past tried to implement in the file fribidi_utils.c .
The idea was to abstract out those parts of user interface issues that
deal e.g. with cursor movement, and make them part of the library.
