Idea: Open Gaming Portal / Lobby-System

Hi everybody!

First of all I'd like to thank you for your input so far, it has been
really helpful and motivating.

Now, let's push things a bit forward. As this will be a project for
(mostly) open source games I thought it would be a good idea to get in
touch with open source game developers. To not misuse this mailinglist
for a discussion with the developers I've setup a sourceforge project
and a mailinglist:

(the project name Glou stands for Game LOUnge, by the way)

I've invited people from about 16 open source game to the mailinglist to
further discuss the project. You can see the invitation-mail and a list

If you think I may have missed some important project / game feel free
to use the mail and encourage them too to join (but please sign with
your name :) ).

Now the most important part: I'd love to invite you too. Please join the
mailinglist so we can start discussing protocol and implementation details.

It's time to finally create an open gaming community!

PS: there is still a discussion going on how Glou and GGZ could work
together. The creation of a seperate sourceforge project doesn't change
that, we will go on discussing :) .
