Plazes sponsorship

I noticed interest in Plazes sponsorship at bottom of

I think support for a variety of geo-WLAN services should exist,
particularly due to usage restrictions.  I'd create one myself if I could
afford it (I have the hardware and mapping software already; the database
is a trivial task).
