HTTP (or HTTPS) mirror of the Git tree

Hi,

I'm new to the project. Is there any way to download the source
history via HTTP? The freedesktop.org git installation seems to allow
only git protocol. But I wish to access these source from a corporate
network (with a proxy/firewal). A HTTP available repository would be
great.

Is there any such "clone" somewhere on Internet?
Eventually, we could clone at repo.or.cz, as their installation allow
HTTP access.

Best regards,
