[Glamor] Disappearing tray icons with xserver 1.15.99.903+ from git using Xfce

Hello,
it seems that the tray icons drawn from GTK2 apps are not visible again 
on Xfce used without compositing (Debian Testing, xserver from git). 
This bug is fixed if libglamor used with older xserver versions.
I suppose this change is responsible:

Revert "glamor: Fix coordinates handling for composite source/mask pictures"

Are there any plans to solve this issue before the 1.6 release? Xfce and 
probably other DEs that dont use compositing will be affected.
