reg: git submodule update error

Hello,
        I am Gururaj from India. When I try to update the cloned git using
:

git submodule update --init

I end up with this error


Cloning into faad...
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
Clone of 'git://git.collabora.co.uk/git/user/reynaldo/android/deps/faad'
into submodule path 'faad' failed
