GStreamer Conference 2025 in London, UK on 23-24 October 2025

The GStreamer project is thrilled to announce that the 2025 GStreamer
Conference is now confirmed to take place on Thursday and Friday 23-24
October 2025 in London, UK, at the Barbican Centre. [1]

The conference will be followed by a 2-3 day hackfest on Saturday and
Sunday 25-26 October 2025 (and maybe also Monday 27 October 2025, to be
confirmed).

In addition, the Foundations of Open Media Standards and Software
(FOMS) Workshop 2025 is expected to take place on Tuesday 28 October
2025, followed by Demuxed 2025 [2], the conference for video devs! Also
in London, of course.

Registration & Call for Presentations will be opening soon, stay tuned!

We will announce those and any further updates on the conference
website [3], on Discourse [4], on Bluesky [5] and Mastodon [6], and
(only for major updates) on the GStreamer announce mailing list [7].

Talk slots will be available in varying durations from 20 minutes up to
45 minutes. Whatever you’re doing or planning to do with GStreamer,
we’d like to hear from you!

We also plan to have sessions with short lightning talks / demos /
showcase talks for those who just want to show what they’ve been
working on or do a mini-talk instead of a full-length talk. Lightning
talk slots will be allocated on a first-come-first-
serve basis, so make sure to reserve your slot if you plan on giving a
lightning talk.
