 It would be handy if I could see, while playing gst-player (eg when invoked
 bij nautilus), what codec sound out etc is used. The 'lightbulb' doesn't
 show that much.

+not sure if we want to do this, since people in gnome seem to be
+against too much information.  maybe hide it somehwere in a dialog.
