Summary: Memory leaks
Found a few more memory leaks tonight using memprof. Basically calling
gst_init leaked about 1 or 2K, depending on how many plugin types are
registered.
Attached patch plugs them gaps.

Patch may generate corrupt registries...
I don't know why, it fixes the memory leaks, but I've had issues with it.
