+Found this while examining glsink's RGB input:

+videotestsrc produces an incorrect RGB output image (probably Red/Blue
+exchanged), can be tested with:
+
+gst-launch-0.7 videotestsrc ! pngenc ! filesink location=out.png
+(down left is _red_ instead of blue). 
+
+Probably never visible as xvideosink accepts both RGB and YUV, and seems to
+default to YUV.
