+It seems that GStreamer tries to build the docs even if the
+--enable-docs-build isn't passed to the configure script. If we want to try
+and promote building the docs we should still have a '--disable-docs-build'
+option so that people who for some reason or other can't or will not build
+the docs can avoid doing so.
