Bug#: 130508
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
OS: Linux
OS Details:
Status: NEW
Resolution:
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gst-plugins
AssignedTo: gstreamer-maint at bugzilla.gnome.org
ReportedBy: rbultje at ronald.bitfreak.net
QAContact: gstreamer-maint at bugzilla.gnome.org
TargetMilestone: HEAD
URL:
Summary: Mixer master track

Each mixer implementation needs to iedntify the 'master' volume somehow.
This is normally 'Volume' or (if that doesn't exist) 'PCM' for OSS. For
ALSA, I'm not sure. I was thinking about a flag GST_MIXER_TRACK_MASTER in
the appropriate track to identify it in applications that require it (e.g.
ACME).
