at the end of june, first days of jully, on the devel ML, there has been a post
about adding support for DVB as a source :

it seems that Martin Eikermann wrote such an element and posted the source on
his website : (sources from 07/03/2004)

better contact him, he might have newer code that those snapshots

zaheer has 2 != DVB cards, i have one, perhaps we would be able to help
integrating those elements

perhaps it's time to integrate it, before it fail into oblivon for one more year.
