another file that has this problem:

errors from rhythmbox:
Internal GStreamer error: negotiation problem.  File a bug.
Internal GStreamer error: pad problem.  File a bug.
Could not get/set settings from/on resource.
Could not start pipeline playing

totem does this, but gives no error messages, the state is playing, but it stays
