"There's a speex file (.spx) in the example-content package. If you play it
with totem doesn't know how to seek in this file and disables the seek slider.

Using Dapper.

I confirmed this bug in Totem in Ubuntu Dapper Flight 6. I also opened the .spx
file in Rhythmbox and it too cannot seek .spx files and disables the seek
slider."
