After discussing a dead link on #gstreamer I was pointed to this bug report.

Reference" where I end up in "GStreamer Base Plugins 0.10 Library Reference
Manual" where I go to "II. Object Hierarchy"
At this page

I click on "GstElement" and get an 404 error.
