I was getting a similar crash from audioresample.  Reinstalling -base (which
has audioresample) would make it work once and start crashing from the second
run again.  Seems like if I remove ~/.gstreamer-0.10/registry.i686.xml, it will
run without a crash (and create that xml file again, so next time crashes.)
