I'm not sure exactly where you think the bug is here. All the output in that
file looks perfectly expected to me:

If you don't insert audioconvert, you won't be able to connect decodebin to
alsasink because decodebin will internally be connecting 'mad' which only
supports 32-bit samples, to alsasink which currently doesn't support 32-bit
sample output.
