GStreamer | gst-plugins-good | Ver: HEAD CVS
Summary: Serious memory leak in level plugin
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: Normal
Component: gst-plugins-good
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: msmith at fluendo.com
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
Level continually leaks a small amount of memory - with default settings,
around about half a megabyte per hour. This is a serious problem for
long-running applications that want to use level to measure current audio
levels (for a vumeter, for instance).
It needs some g_value_unset() calls; see attached patch.
