I can't get much out of that valgrind trace either, except that it seems to
want to be recompiled. I notice that there is a thread inside libmpeg2 that is
performing altivec stuff. Part of the report in bug 154431 mentions that the
crash went away when libmpeg2 was recompiled without altivec support, so you
probably want to try that.
