Thanks for the fast reply. What I am really looking for, however, is a solution
that doesn't involve any of the cdparanoia API, ie. a libcdio.so-based
solution (for various reasons). Is there anything like that?
If what you say about drives is true, maybe we should just assume that data is
always little endian (on all architectures), and provide a way to override this
for the few cases where this is not the case. Should probably also check with
PPC folks to see how things are working there at the moment.
