  GStreamer | gst-plugins-bad | Ver: HEAD CVS

           Summary: xvidenc should output video/mpeg
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: HEAD CVS
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-bad
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: tristan.brindle at gmail.com
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

At present xvidenc only allows video/x-xvid caps on the output pad. Since XVid
can generate compliant MPEG4 video, it should also allow video/mpeg
(mpegversion=4), as is the case with ffenc_mpeg4.
