Hmmm... sorry, but your patch doesn't seem to work that well:
$ ./audio
alsasrc device=hw:0,0 name=dsnoop:0
alsasrc device=hw:0,1 name=dsnoop:0
alsasrc device=hw:1,0 name=dsnoop:0

What did it give on your setup?
