Those three failures are probably due to the GST_PLUGIN_DEFINE_STATIC
constructor macro not being defined for you compiler.

See gstreamer/gst/gstmacros.h

Could you investigate what the correct idiom is for the HPUX compiler you're
using? (maybe #pragma INIT or so)
