Please describe the problem:
The audioconvert element only supports a maximum of 8 channels. This causes
problems with my Delta 44 sound card (as well as many other similar cards),
which needs to send a 12 channel stream through audioconvert before it can be
deinterleaved with the deinterleave plugin.
