Steps to reproduce:
1. execute the following pipeline
gst-launch videotestsrc ! video/x-raw-yuv,width=\(int\)640,height=\(int\)480 !
.sink1 smpte name=s fps=1  ! ffmpegcolorspace ! ximagesink videotestsrc  !
s.sink2

NOTICE: caps filter is not specified for the second half of the pipeline
