(No response to original one, so cross-posting here. I'm disappointed a bit,
trying to help improving open software and no one's interested...)

When listening to audio CDs using GStreamer-based apps (such as Rhythmbox,
Banshee or Exaile), the quality of sound isn't as it is expected to be. I can
hear some cracks and noise with electric guitar playing a capella for example.
Standalone hi-fi set or every xine-based player (e.g. totem and amarok, both
with xine engine) produces better results, i.e. the sound is clean.

The strange thing is that sound-juicer (AFAIK it's also GStreamer-based) plays
the same audio CD correctly.

I'd ripped track with mentioned guitar solo using cdparanoia, then played
produced wav file with Rhythmbox. Sound's clean again.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Get some audio CD with very few instruments playing, as it is easier to hear
the difference when listening to only one of them.
2. Play it with GStreamer and xine-based app. Try playing with sound-juicer
too.
3. Notice the difference.
