I'm not sure why this bug is still open, since it's not a GStreamer bug.  I've
written a little test script that can be used on a system with a suspicious X
driver to determine if the driver is buggy.

In particular, it is known that some versions of the fglrx drivers are buggy. 
I'd appreciate it if someone could install the latest version and indicate
whether they're still buggy (using the script, please), including the version
number.
