  GStreamer | gst-plugins-base | Ver: 0.10.12
Summary: [PATCH] videorate not (fully) segment aware; causes
                    framedrops
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 0.10.12
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-base
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: manauw at skynet.be
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unspecified
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

videorate does well on a particular segment selected by a flushing seek.
However, if a subsequent non-flushing seek is then performed, a (possibly
large) mismatch in timestamp calculations will cause many many framedrops.
