The crash looks awfully similar to the situation in bug #420106.

However, the crash seems to be in a gstmp4vplugin.c plugin (with a somewhat
misnamed event function too). This is not a plugin that ships as part of
GStreamer, hence closing as NOTGNOME. Please file the bug with whoever provided
that plugin.
