I think it should be in

gst-plugins-base/gst-libs/ext/tags/

"tags" instead of "imagetags"
and
"ext" instead of "gst" 'cause I would like to use the following libs:

Exif:
 - http://libexif.sourceforge.net/

IPTC:
 - http://libiptcdata.sourceforge.net/

XMP:
 - http://libopenraw.freedesktop.org/wiki/Exempi
