  GStreamer | gst-plugins-good | Ver: 0.10.6
Summary: Extend RTP MPEG-TS payloader to handle large RTP payload
                    packets
           Product: GStreamer
           Version: 0.10.6
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: Normal
         Component: gst-plugins-good
        AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
        ReportedBy: jordijp at gmail.com
         QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
     GNOME version: Unversioned Enhancement
   GNOME milestone: Unspecified

Currently, the RTP MPEG-TS payloader component 'rtpmp2tpay' packs only one MPT
frame of 188 bytes in the RTP packet payload. The idea is to increase the
payload size of to 1316 bytes.

As an idea, the number of MPT frames in the payload could be a configurable
parameter from 1 to 7 (the maximum allowed by the MTU).
