gstpreset does not respect $HOME on non-windows machines. This makes running
the gstpreset tests harder as it requires you to allow the tests to write
configuration data to a user's home directory. It would be nice to respect the
$HOME environment variable so that tests can be run with HOME set to a
temporary location (HOME=/tmp/gstreamer-test-home make check).
