GStreamer | gst-plugins-good | Ver: HEAD CVS
Summary: Make the auto-join/auto-leaving of a multicast group
optional in multiudpsink
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gst-plugins-good
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: tester at tester.ca
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
Currently, multiudpsink automatically joins/leaves a multicast group if a
multicast address is given to it. If the same socket is shared between a udpsrc
and a multiudpsink, that prevents me from controlling if packets are send to
multicast group indenpendently from the source.
I'm attaching a patch that add a auto-multicast property that controls whether
the element will do the joining itself or let the application do it.
