GStreamer shows you a bad error message instead of the 'real' error message,
which is probably either a permissions issue, or that the sound device you're
trying doesn't exist or is currently in use by another application. It's most
likely to be a configuration issue though at the end of the day, so best to
play with different settings in System => Preferences => Sound to find the
right output method for opensuse and/or install esd/pulseaudio.

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but
we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be
solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software
upgrade.
