GStreamer | gst-plugins-bad | Ver: HEAD CVS
Summary: mpeg4videoparse broken on big endian architectures
Product: GStreamer
Version: HEAD CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: gst-plugins-bad
AssignedTo: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
ReportedBy: sjoerd at luon.net
QAContact: gstreamer-bugs at lists.sourceforge.net
GNOME version: Unspecified
GNOME milestone: Unspecified
because of the way GET_BITS works values are always retrieved in big-endian
order (which is actually what mpeg4 uses) and saved in the architectures
native order. So GUINT32_FROM_LE actually breaks things. Will attach a patch
